I have collected feedback from peers and the professor that will be used to make improvements prior to my final submission. Below are some notes that I was provided with.

Professor Notes

Well-organized and detailed app. However, some features have been left out, such as the real-time availability functionality (as mentioned in your proposal) and the reservation features. Adding these features would make the app much more complete. I recommend reviewing your proposal to ensure all key features are included. Well done overall!

The text on "Study Spotter" appears slightly grainy when enlarged on the main screen—consider refining the resolution for clarity.

The text "Find the perfect place to study, anytime!" seems a bit small. On a mobile device, I’d have to squint to read it. Making it bolder or increasing the size might improve readability.

The graphics for the study locations look amazing—great visual appeal!

For the availability tab, it might be helpful to add a brief explanation of what "availability" means. For example: "See which spots are full in real-time!" to provide some context.

Similarly, for the reviews section, a note like "Reviews pulled from [source], providing insights from others’ experiences at each spot" would help clarify the source of the feedback.

I really love the use of the maps feature! It’s great for users who rely on visual distance to choose the best study spot.

The back button currently swipes us forward, which is a bit confusing. A swipe-back motion would better align with standard user navigation.

In the notifications tab, there’s a section for reservation notifications, but I couldn’t find where to make a reservation within the app. If this feature exists, could it be made more visible?

For the account tab, it might be helpful to add a note about privacy, such as: "Your information is only used for account verification purposes and will not be shared with others."

I love the inclusion of study preferences during registration—it’s a nice personalized touch!

For the logo, the garnet on garnet color scheme blends a bit too much. Adding FSU’s gold as a border around the logo would make it stand out more. If possible, consider using that gold for the borders around the five main white boxes to add polish and contrast.

In a time where accessibility has come to the forefront of our society; increasing font size and thickness will be inclusive of those with vision challenges.
